Catalight Unveils Wellbeing Scales to Assess and Enhance the Lives of Families Living With Intellectual Developmental Disabilities and Autism Catalight recently released an important scale measuring its clients’ wellbeing – the most universal measure of success. Vice President of Clinical Excellence, Lindsey Sneed, Ph.D., BCBA-D, published a study of the Catalight Family Wellbeing Scale in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders proving it to be a statistically reliable gauge. From Classroom to Clinical Excellence and Back Again: Catalight Psychologist’s Teaching Technique at University of San Francisco Gives Students a Look into Real World Impacts Dr. Sneed has joined the staff at the University of San Francisco as an adjunct professor. She began teaching ‘History and the Systems of Psychology’ to doctoral students at the start of the semester. Through thought-provoking discussions, she pairs practical insights from her work with Catalight and historical and contemporary psychological issues, to foster social awareness among her students. The Importance of Differential Diagnosis in Autism: One Size Doesn’t Fit All The third webinar in our ”One Size Doesn’t Fit All” series features Catalight Chief Clinical Officer Doreen Samelson, Ed.D., MSCP, and Stephen Kanne, Ph.D., director of the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain in New York. Hosted by Behavorial Health Business, the two will discuss the importance of a differential diagnosis in autism on March 6 at 11 a.m. PT.
