Dr. Bearss Joins Catalight to Expand Reach of RUBI Program and Enhance Autism Care Access Renowned psychologist Karen Bearss, Ph.D., joined Catalight as its Vice President of Caregiver-Mediated Care. Her popular RUBI parent-training program, designed to empower families by bolstering their parenting and behavioral skills toolbox, will be integrated into Catalight’s suite of individualized care options. How Parents Experience Profound Autism: One Size Doesn’t Fit All Catalight’s Chief Clinical Officer Doreen Samelson, Ed.D., and Jackie Kancir, Executive Director of the National Council on Severe Autism, both of whom raised children with intellectual and developmental disorders, spoke about how parents navigate a profound autism diagnosis and lifelong care in Catalight’s latest webinar. What’s Up With Catalight! Podcast Episode 3 The latest episode of Catalight’s new podcast, What’s Up With Catalight! is now available. Cynthia Anderson, Ph.D., BCBA, child psychologist and Senior Vice President of Applied Behavior Analysis at the May Institute, joins host Lindsey Sneed, Ph.D., BCBA, to talk about how the heterogeneity of people with autism requires experts to rethink outcomes and provide more evidence-based intervention.
