Jeff Roest Board of Directors Jeff Roest is the Director of Finance at Prosper Marketplace. Prosper is a marketplace lender headquartered in San Francisco. At Prosper, Jeff leads the technical accounting and SEC reporting functions. Jeff’s day-to-day at Prosper often involves financial statement analysis, contract review, managing auditors, design and implementation of internal controls and leading complex valuations. Before joining Prosper, Jeff worked in the assurance group at Ernst & Young LLP where he led the audits of companies in various industries including technology, clean tech, manufacturing and financial services. With Ernst & Young, Jeff worked in San Francisco, Canada and the Netherlands. Jeff has an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. Jeff is also a CPA with the California Board of Accountancy and a CPA with the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. Jeff has been actively involved in the lives of those with disabilities since he was young. Jeff has a brother with a disability and has coached downhill skiers with a range of disabilities. From these experiences Jeff has developed a passion for helping those with disabilities reach their full potential.
