Sandy Whicker Board of Directors Sandy Whicker is a Bay Area native and the mother of a teenage son with autism spectrum disorder. Her life’s priority and focus have been advocating for her son’s education and navigating the health system. She is a firm believer in early intervention, supporting therapies and finding ways to expose children with developmental disorders to activities and areas of interest to feed their minds and bodies. Professionally, Sandy has over 20 years of experience working in Finance, Operations and Information Technology across various industries, including restaurant operations, franchising, heavy manufacturing, natural foods, apparel and retail. Working primarily in mid-sized enterprises, Sandy has held positions as Controller, as well as Director and Executive roles in Information Technology. In addition, she has served as a consultant and project manager on numerous business process development and system conversion projects in the United States and Asia. Sandy is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Economics. She enjoys hiking, skiing, baking and needlework in her free time.
