Caregiver-Mediated

Empowering caregivers through caregiver-mediated care options. Our programs do not certify caregivers as Registered Behavior Technicians and we do not pay caregivers.

A Caregiver-Led naturalistic developmental and language-based intervention for children six and under. This is a great option for families who prefer a developmental approach to treatment.

This parent-mediated program is designed to improve the wellbeing of people with profound intellectual multiple disabilities (PIMD) and their families. This parent-mediated program focuses on communication, daily living skills and challenging behavior.

Focused on dangerous and severe behavior, Calibrate ABA is a parent-mediated approach to care with a concentrated focus on behavior reduction.

By reducing the need for scheduled sessions with a paraprofessional, parents are taught Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies by licensed/certified high-level clinicians. Parents use ABA strategies throughout the day to improve skills and reduce challenging or dangerous behaviors. This type of ABA allows families to have more flexibility to enjoy everyday activities.

RUBI is a manualized parent-mediated program that guides therapists in the teaching of tailored ABA-based behavioral strategies to families of autistic/IDD children with co-occurring challenging behaviors.

An ABA based coaching program where the teen or adult works directly with a licensed/certified behavioral health expert to focus on areas that are important to the client, such as executive functioning, social relationships or emotional regulation. Compass is designed to promote self-determination and wellbeing.

Paraprofessionals implement ABA treatment plans during scheduled sessions. Parents and caregivers participate during the session and meet with the licensed/certified clinician for parent training. Paraprofessional-Led ABA can occur at the clients’ home, in the community or at a clinic.

Coaching / Direct with Client Interventions​

A career advancement tool designed for neurodiverse candidates who are seeking lifelong employment. The tool provides a complete range of career services to support participants throughout their career journey, starting from initial assessments to landing the position that best sets them up for future career success.

An outpatient behavioral health service for youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Intellectual and Developmental Disability (I/DD) who may also experience symptoms of anxiety and/or depression. Psychotherapy sessions are designed to support the client’s wellbeing through focusing on executive functioning skills and emotional health.

Developmental, Relationship Based Interventions

A small peer group led by trained professionals designed for individuals who are school aged to young adults with a deficit in social skills. The program’s focus is to equip individuals with the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors necessary to effectively interact and communicate with others in various social contexts.

Tools

Wellbeing is the measure of a person’s overall happiness, satisfaction, and positive outlook. Catalight’s 15-question wellbeing self-assessment scales were developed for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families. Family, youth and adult scales are available.

Our practice guidelines outline our treatment hours recommendation and outcome measures for behavioral interventions for Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities.

A self-assessment used to understand a parent’s perception of their child’s treatment plan and measure their comfort level of implementing learned interventions.
